ISCA Gallery is thrilled to open its new space at Skovveien 17 on Thursday November 30th with a group exhibition titled ‘Ace of Pentacles’. The opening exhibition will offer a glimpse into the gallery’s program, with a selection of artists who’s brilliant work and exhibitions have contributed to the gallery’s growth over the years.

The selection of artists reflect the red thread running through past exhibitions at the gallery as well as those coming up in the next years. Camilla Løw, Liv Ertzeid, Mia Van Veen, Ida Madsen Følling, Berit Louise Sara-Grønn, Markus Li Stensrud, Sophia Sørholt, and Ali Gallefoss will present series of new pieces that display their individual approaches to painting and sculpture while creating unique dialogues between themselves and their work.

The title of the show ‘Ace of Pentacles’ comes from a card pulled from the tarot deck that symbolizes a new beginning, which can be seen as both an opportunity and a challenge. It encourages one to make the most of an opportunity, suggests luck and prosperity, growth and beauty, while requiring hard work and determination. Hopefully this good omen will pave the way forward for the gallery and its new home in Oslo.
